China #628 Reprint.  A rare opportunity to procure a replica of this very scarce sheet depicting the famous actor of female  actor of female roles, Mei Lan Fang.  The original sheet is valued by Scott at $3500.00 & China specialists estimate that of the 20,000 initially issued in 1962, the majority were damaged or destroyed during the Cultural Revolution.  It is felt that only 1000 exist today world-wide, & of these only 300 are in collectible condition. (See Scott footnote).  This clean, crisp specimen housed in the presentation folder belong in the album of every China collector. Occasionally they are found at auction in the $200-250 range.
